*BOX LEAGUE*

 *FORMAT*

• Players are placed into Pods of four.

• Each Pod runs for 12 days.

• Matches are single games to 11, win by 2.

• Players are responsible for coordinating and completing all matches within the 12-day window.

• All scores must be submitted before the deadline.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

 *STANDINGS*

• Ranked by total wins.

• Tie-breakers:

    1. Head-to-head

    2. Point differential

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

 *MOVEMENT*

• Top finisher moves up.

• Bottom finisher moves down.

• Middle players remain (subject to balancing adjustments if required).

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

 *SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS*

• Respond to Pod messages within 24 hours. (Please exclude Christina from the communications between the pods.)

• Offer multiple time and location options. Expect that some participants can play primetime only.

• Do not wait until the final days to schedule.

• If you are unresponsive, matches may be recorded as forfeits.

• If you are suddenly ill or unavailable, contact your Pod members to reschedule. If they are unable to accommodate, contact me to see if a sub is available. Otherwise, it is a forfeit.

*The 12-day window is firm.*

 *SCORE REPORTING*

Each Pod will have two designated score reporters.

At the end of the cycle, 1 reporter must fill out the form:

• The other submit scores via WhatsApp to Christina at 604-218-3851.

• Confirm final standings.

_Scores submitted after the deadline may not be accepted._

 *PARTICIPATION IN NEXT CYCLE*

Players are assumed IN for the next session unless they notify me directly via WhatsApp to Christina at 604-218-3851 that they are out.

If you withdraw late, it impacts three other players and may affect future placement priority.

 *CONDUCT EXPECTATIONS*

• Competitive but respectful play.

• Fair line calls.

• No manipulation of point differential.

• Repeated sportsmanship issues may result in removal from the league.

*March 14* — Instructions sent to players unavailable for Cycle 1

As this is our first Box League, expect refinement. Feedback will be gathered after two sessions and adjustments made where necessary.
